Tristan’s Senior Photo Shoot {Idaho Falls, Shelley, and Firth Senior Photographer}

This Fall I was able to photograph the beautiful and talented Tristan. She came up to Idaho Falls from Firth, and I am SO glad she did! It is one of my favorite senior sessions to date. She is so fun, smart, gorgeous, and sweet. She is involved in almost every activity imaginable so it was tricky to find a time to do her senior pictures. We scheduled way in advance and prayed that the weather would stay nice. In Idaho you never know if the weather will cooperate in November. Luckily it was a gorgeous day and we didn't have to reschedule.   I think I love EVERY picture from her session, but I forced myself to narrow it down to my favorite 12!   Oh, and I need to give a shout out to the most amazing hair and makeup artist, Heather! You always come up with the perfect look for each girl!

Karianne – Senior from Norway

Karianne came to me all the way from Norway to get her senior pictures. Well, okay she came here as a Foreign Exchange student, but can I pretend she came just so I could take her senior pictures? Probably not, but it would be a good story! ๐Ÿ™‚ During her session I had to ask if most Norwegians have gorgeous blond hair (I know it is a stereotype) like her, and she said yes! In fact she said she heard it is the MOST blond country in the world. Even if a lot of Norwegians have blond hair, I think Karianne probably has the most gorgeous blond hair though. And her eyes are equally incredible. I swear I get to photograph the most beautiful people.

Newborn Kaeden – 4 Days New

Kaeden's newborn photo shoot was so much fun! Not only because he was an absolute angel but also because I got to do the session with a good friend of mine and fellow photographer, Kim of Velvet Shutter Photography. We had a blast trying new poses and lighting techniques. And Kaeden was a trooper through it all. He slept so good for us. We couldn't have asked for a better newborn model.

Family Pictures at The Great Salt Lake

Recently I was in Utah and took some pictures of a family near Saltair at the Great Salt Lake. I wish I lived closer because the backdrop of the mountains and lake was incredible. And the sunset we had that night was too gorgeous. But (sigh) I don't live close. And isn't this family beautiful!? I loved everything about this session. Although the little guy gave me quite a challenge because he didn't want to sit still, you would never know. Look at all the smiles he gave me. What a little charmer! I don't photograph families very often because they are not my specialty, but sessions like this one make me want to do it more. Oh if only every family photoshoot went so well! ๐Ÿ™‚

This picture cracks me up! What a typical boy...sticking his tongue out. ha ha Then he's quickly back to being as charming as ever.
